NIGERIA OPERATIONS UPDATE

Dear Customer,
Please note that due to new electronic manifesting requirements by the Nigerian/Lagos Customs, there is currently no air lift to Nigeria for freight, courier and mail.

This restriction will remain in place until the new manifesting requirements can be met by the airlines.

We thank you for your understanding during this time and assure you that we are doing our utmost to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
We will of course update you further once more information becomes available.

World Expo China
The World Expo in Shanghai has begun and runs until the 31st of October. Whilst it is running the Chinese authorities implement extremely strict security measures on the import/export of any goods. As a result, there may be some delays during this period, caused by customs backlogs.
The airport ground handling authorities have added a new import DG handling fee of £40 per consignment for the duration of the Exhibition. This fee will be added to all DG shipments handled by The Courier Company effective from the 1st of June.

Security/Fuel Surcharges
The fuel and security surcharges, imposed by the airlines and shipping companies have increased as due to stronger dollar. As a result the FS surcharge from 1 January will remain at 18% for international and 14% for domestic shipments.

Liquids, Powders and Dangerous Goods to Russia
New health regulations regarding the importation of these items into Russia have recently been introduced. We are pleased to advise you that we are registered to import most goods on your behalf, but to facilitate clearance all shipments must be shipped on a duty paid basis. UK Hazardous Materials distribution
We are pleased to be able to provide a 24/48 hour UK nationwide service for items greater than limited quantity or items requiring ADR supervision. Please contact us for details and a DG audit.

Liquids, Powders and Dangerous Goods into China
After the restrictions placed last year on DG cargo into China, we are pleased to advise you the we are now able to accept Liquids and Powders (both DG and non DG). To speed up the shipments, we would suggest that you ship these goods on a DDP basis

Carbon Emissions
As a company, we have acheived full 100% carbon neutrality. We practice a rigorous regime of recycling, whilst sourcing our energy from green suppliers. Our vehicles run on the Ecomix system combining LPG and biodiesel to increase our fuel economy and discharging less toxic or ozone destroying gases. All our shipments by air and other carbon producing activities, are offset through CarbonClear.com. Everything you ship through us is certifed to be carbon Free!
