Security/Fuel
Surcharges
The fuel and security surcharges, imposed by the airlines
and shipping companies were increased on 26 June2008
and will go up further on 10 July2008. The surcharge
for July onwards will increase to 22% for international and
15% for domestic shipments.

We have been updated by our office in China and by
the airlines that the import of all liquids requiring transit within
China, and full IATA classified dangerous goods, (with the execption
of biological specimens witihn class 6.2 for medical purposes) have
been halted until the end of August 2008, by the Chinese authorities.
We are only able to accept dangerous goods in Excepted Quantities
and non hazardous liquids into Shanghai(PVG), Beijing (PEK), Qingdao
(TAO) and Shenzhen (SHE) airports for consignee clearance only. Currently
there are no restrictions on shipments containing dry ice. If you
have any materials to go into China, please call our office for more
information as we will clarify individual cases with our office prior
to shipment.
